IWS is a leading brand that has been actively involved in the poultry industry for almost two decades. After over two decades in the UK poultry sector and hundreds of customers throughout the UK, it’s not surprising that our customers see IWS as “the leaders in poultry water treatment”. Some even go as far as stating, “They have changed the way we think about water for the better.” One factor that many in the industry may not be aware of is that we are in many different sectors of industry such as hospitals, food production, field crop, and oil & gas.
This has allowed the company’s R&D arm to develop solutions that are normally for more rigid industries and make the necessary adjustments so they are cost-effective for livestock as well as being effective.

AVPRO
Acting on customers’ needs, AVPRO is a global DEFRA-approved product that is a good example of how IWS responds to customer needs.
Due to the carcinogenic issues with current products, namely formalin and its many disadvantages for the user, IWS developed a better proven alternative in the form of AVPRO.
Premium Service
At IWS, we were the first to bring an effective water treatment system with a premium service that is regularly supported by our experienced field staff from the farming industry.
We take our commitment to the industry seriously, and that’s why we continuously engage in research and development to better understand the evolving needs of the wider industry. In response to the industry’s increasing demand for technology that enhances bird welfare, IWS developed a CCTV and security brand called MYDIS (mydis.com). We’ve worked on major projects for suppliers such as M&S for their Oakham bird, providing them with cutting-edge technology that ensures the welfare of their birds.
As we move into the future, we’re seeing an increased demand from retailers for technology that enhances bird welfare, and IWS with MYDIS are ensuring that farms that we’ve worked with for decades are now future-proofed.
Wastewater Management
Wastewater management is another service offered by IWS. This is crucial because it helps to reduce the amount of nitrates in the water. If the nitrate level is too high, government organizations may fine farmers and the wider community.
By managing the nitrate levels in the water, we are helping farmers to avoid these fines and ensuring that they are compliant with regulations.
