Dr Željka Ervaćinović, PhD, DVM, MRCVS, graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Zagreb, Croatia, where she also earned a PhD in poultry and game-bird immunology. With more than 24 years of experience in the poultry industry, she has worked across various areas of poultry production and health, including broiler breeders, hatcheries, broilers, slaughterhouses, and the egg sector.
Since becoming an independent consultant in 2013, Zeljka has collaborated with a range of international poultry and animal health companies. She joined Ceva Animal Health UK in 2015 and later returned to consultancy in 2020, establishing Aviacon Ltd, a UK-based poultry consultancy company.
From 2024 to 2025, Zeljka served as Business Unit Director for Ceva UK & Ireland before returning full-time to Aviacon Ltd. Her work includes projects across the UK and Ireland, as well as internationally throughout Asia, the Middle East, Central America, and Latin America. In 2025, she joined the EPIC Committee.
