Andrew Brodie is HR & Communications Director at Faccenda Foods, a leading UK poultry supplier to the retail and food service sector with 3600 people in its Agriculture and Production supply chain.
He is also Chairman of British Poultry Training, an alliance of four partners, BPC, NFU, Poultec and Lantra committed to the skills development and minimum standards for people across all areas of poultry agriculture. The BPT promotes these principles under the brand “Poultry Passport” which has been used to define the scheme to ensure that development of people in the sector for over a decade and was recently renewed for a further 5 years. In this role Andrew has led the “Trailblazer” process, to ensure poultry agriculture standards meet the new skills development requirements introduced by the Government, together with the Apprentice Levy, earlier this year.
Andrew has over two decades experience working in the food sector. Before joining Faccenda in 2007, Andrew held HR roles with a number of leading food companies, including Cargill, Unilever and Danone, within the UK and Europe. He graduated from Bristol University with a degree in History in 1992, and in addition to Chartered HR qualifications also has a Masters in Organisational Performance from Cranfield.
