In 2013 the winner was poultry vet Phil Hammond, who is an exceptional veterinarian who has dedicated his professional life to the poultry industry with great enthusiasm. He has also been recongised by the world’s poultry veterinarians, as 2013’s winner of the World Veterinary Poultry Association Young Veterinarian of the Year Award.
Phil is also an active committee member of the British Veterinary Poultry Association and successfully led the UK’s bid to host the 2017 WVPA Congress.
